The Background

Mintdale Engineering are a family run business who have been supplying precision engineered parts to clients throughout the UK. Mintdale were interested in Solar PV to help reduce their energy spend and improve their carbon footprint.

The Solution

Perfect Sense Energy’s in-house design team designed a bespoke 132kw Solar PV System for Mintdale’s site, sized for efficiency based on their electricity consumption. This system will generate free, clean energy which will be used around the site.

The Results & Feedback

This 132 kWp system will generate over 110,000kWh in year 1, provide Mintdale engineering with around £28,000 of savings in 1 year and have a project payback period of 4 years. This system helps Mintdale Engineering reduce their reliance on grid power and protects against the ever rising energy costs.
