Our Values

Values in Action

Transparency, education, care, ethics, consideration, and sustainability are at the heart of our business. We strive to live by these principles, demonstrating them through meaningful initiatives that benefit both our business and the wider community.

Our Commitment to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter

We are proud supporters of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, a voluntary membership and assessment scheme that aims to improve employment standards across the region. By aligning with the Charter’s key principles—secure work, flexible working, real living wage, engagement and voice, excellent recruitment practices, people management, health and wellbeing, and inclusive practices—we demonstrate our commitment to creating a fair, inclusive, and supportive workplace where all our people can thrive.

Here are some of the ways we’re making a difference locally:

Beehive Sponsorship

We proudly sponsor a beehive in Greater Manchester, contributing to local biodiversity and supporting the vital role bees play in our ecosystem. This initiative helps protect pollinators and raises awareness of their importance in sustainability.

Leigh RUFC Sponsorship

We’ve partnered with Leigh RUFC, a local rugby team known for its inclusivity and community focus. Their work with underprivileged children and dedication to fostering a sense of belonging aligns closely with our values, making this sponsorship a perfect fit.

Leigh Works Collaboration

We are proud to work with Leigh Works, a local social enterprise providing affordable business services while reinvesting profits into community projects. To support their sustainability goals, we offered a free site survey and are installing solar PV at their headquarters at no profit. This initiative will help them save on energy costs, allowing them to reinvest the savings into further community improvements.

FOC Consultancy for Community Organisations

As part of our mission to support good causes, we’ve provided free-of-charge energy cost saving consultancy to Higher Folds Community Centre and Stockdales, helping both organisations explore practical ways to reduce energy usage and reinvest savings into their community services.

Apprenticeship Programme

In September 2023, we welcomed Cameron Harris, a local young man, as a Digital Technical Apprentice. Cameron, from the Wigan Borough, has shown incredible growth and is now a key member of our Technical Department. With his apprenticeship now complete as of February 2025, Cameron has transitioned into a Technical Coordinator role. We are committed to his continued development, ensuring a long and successful career with us.
