The Background

The Box Factory is one of the largest independently owned, high volume Manufacturers of FSC® certified corrugated cardboard packaging companies in the UK. The Box Factory were interested in Solar PV to help reduce their energy spend and improve their carbon footprint.

The Solution

Perfect Sense Energy’s in-house design team designed a bespoke 200kw Solar PV System for this site, sized for efficiency based on their electricity consumption. This system will generate free, clean energy which will power The Box Factories manufacturing equipment and site everyday.

The Results & Feedback

This 200 kWp system will generate over 161kWh in year 1, provide The Box Factory with over £23,000 of savings in 5 years and will also save over 52 Tonnes of CO2 annually. This system helps The Box Factory reduce their reliance on grid power and protects against future cost rises.
