The Background

Peak Production, a recognised leader in bespoke automated test equipment, has taken a significant step toward sustainability by partnering with Perfect Sense Energy to install a high-performance solar PV system at their Letchworth site. As a technology-focused manufacturer, Peak Production faced the dual challenge of rising operational costs and
the increasing importance of environmental responsibility. Their leadership team recognised that
investing in solar energy would not only cut overheads but also align with their corporate sustainability goals.

The Solution

Perfect Sense Energy conducted a detailed analysis of the site’s energy usage, roof space, and future energy needs. The result: a carefully engineered 89.1 kWp solar PV system, designed to maximise output and savings. This bespoke solution not only reduces their carbon
footprint and energy bills—it also reinforces their commitment to cleaner, greener operations and long-term energy resilience.

The Results & Feedback

Since going live, the system has delivered immediate savings and performance in line with (or exceeding) projections. With over a quarter of the site’s daytime electricity now powered by the sun, Peak Production is reducing their reliance on the grid while actively contributing to the UK’s carbon reduction goals.
