Carrs Pasties, a well-established family bakery based in Bolton, is known for producing highquality products while maintaining a strong commitment to its local community. As an energyintensive manufacturing business, rising energy costs and sustainability ambitions led Carrs to explore on-site renewable energy generation.

Perfect Sense Energy partnered with Carrs Pasties to design and install tailored PV solutions delivered across two phases. The project comprised two rooftop systems with a combined capacity of over 97kW, enabling the business to significantly reduce its reliance on grid electricity while improving its environmental performance.

The phased installation approach allowed Carrs to scale its investment strategically while minimising operational disruption, supporting both immediate energy savings and long-term sustainability goals.
