The Background

Alt Valley are an anchor organisation that makes a significant contribution to the local area, transforming sports centres, libraries, colleges, and community hubs. They were interested in Solar PV to help reduce their energy spend and improve their carbon footprint.

The Solution

Perfect Sense Energy’s in-house design team designed a bespoke 30kw Solar PV System for their site, sized for efficiency based on their electricity consumption. This system will generate free, clean energy which will power the Alt Valley site everyday.

The Results & Feedback

The system is set to produce over 139,000 kWh of clean energy in the first year, resulting in projected savings of over £32,400. The system was also estimated to have a payback period of 4-5 years, making it a financially viable investment for the company. This solar system helps Ellard to reduce their reliance on grid power and protects against future cost rises.
