Laltex Phases 1 & 2

The Background

Laltex, a long-standing and valued local partner, has repeatedly chosen Perfect Sense Energy to support its commitment to sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Following the success of our first Solar PV installation, Laltex returned to us to deliver a second project—further strengthening their environmental strategy and reducing long-term energy costs.

Across both projects, Perfect Sense Energy worked closely with Laltex to understand their operational needs, design bespoke systems, and ensure seamless installation with minimal disruption to their day-to-day activities. This case study explores how our ongoing partnership has enabled Laltex to take meaningful steps towards energy independence while benefiting from reliable, high-performing renewable technology.

The Solution

The first project at Laltex was a 224.68kW system installed in March 2023. this was designed in line with their consumption requirements at the time. This project paid for itself within 3 years and saved Laltex over £40,000 in Year 1.

Following operational changes which changed working patterns and energy consumption, Laltex and Perfect Sense Energy worked together to identify opportunities for further savings and sustainability credentials. Through bespoke data modelling, including demonstrating the effect of new machines and EV chargers on their energy usage, Perfect Sense Energy designed and installed a further 163.8kW.

The Results & Feedback

The Phase 2 system is set to save Laltex a further £32,000 in the first year, with Phase 2 alone forecasted to pay for itself in 3 years. The combined system is forecasted to generate over 340,000kWh of clean power each year, greatly reducing Laltex’s reliance on grid power and continuing on their sustainability and cost saving journey.
