Bolton Steel Structures are specialists when it comes to structural steel with expertise in a variety of fabrication types. Bolton Steel Structures were interested in a Solar PV Installation to help reduce their energy spending and improve their carbon footprint.

The Solution

Perfect Sense Energy’s in-house design team designed a bespoke 56kWh Solar PV System spread over two roofs for their site in Warrington, sized for efficiency based on their electricity consumption. This system will generate free, clean energy which will power the Bolton Steel’s site everyday.

The Results & Feedback

This 56 kWp system will generate over 52,500kWh in year 1, providing Bolton Steel with a total year 1 savings of £13,730. The project payback period for this system is around 3 years. This system helps bolton Steel reduce their reliance on grid power and protects themselves against future cost rises.
