AK Sheet Metal Fabrications are a leading supplier of metal profiling & fabrication. AK Sheet Metal Fabrications were interested in Solar PV to help reduce their energy spend, improve their carbon footprint and powering their manufacturing equipment with clean energy.

The Solution

Perfect Sense Energy’s in-house design team designed a bespoke 192kw commercial solar panel system for this site, sized for efficiency based on their electricity consumption. This system will generate free, clean energy which will power AK Sheet Metal Fabrications manufacturing equipment and site everyday.

The Results & Feedback

This 192 kWp system will generate over 164kWh in year 1, providing AK Sheet Metal with over £21,500 of savings in 1 year and will also pay for itself in around 4 years. This system helps AK Sheet Metal Fabrications reduce their reliance on grid power and protects against the ever rising energy costs.
