Back in 2006, Gary Brandwood, Perfect Sense Energy’s Founder and Owner, worked in the Miller St CIS Tower in central Manchester when a vertical solar array was installed onto the building. Back then, awareness and demand for solar panels was relatively low, however, the installation sparked Gary’s interest and after the financial crash in 2009, he decided to change direction and dedicate the rest of his career to fighting climate change. Gary founded Perfect Sense in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since.

Since it’s formation, Perfect Sense was set up to provide comprehensive consultancy and installation services that focused on our customer’s energy spend and carbon reduction needs. At Perfect Sense Energy we have grown rapidly and consistently, adapting and moving with the volatile energy market. Revenues have certainly increased, of late the “solar-coaster” is firmly on the upwards trajectory and we have grown significantly to keep up with it. Our previous offices, based just a stone throw down the road from Oakland House were envisaged being suitable for the foreseeable future just three years ago, but meeting the UK’s ever-expanding demand for commercial solar PV has meant we have been bursting at the seams.
The decision to purchase new premises was driven by our ambitious plans, historical rapid growth and the need to expand our operations to better serve our customers. With this strategic move, we are well-equipped to scale, enhance our capabilities, and continue delivering unrivalled renewable and energy-saving solutions to our clients.
Our commitment to sustainability and our passion for driving positive environmental impact remains at the forefront of our business strategy, and the new premises will enable us to further our mission of creating a greener future for generations to come. The additional space provides the capacity for our future development plans so that we can support our community to find and nurture the best talent whilst creating skilled jobs for the green sector for future generations to come.
